How we protect your verification documents

Identity checks and diploma checks follow the same rule: prove it once, keep nothing.

• No document is ever published or visible to other members. There is no web address that leads to it.
• Files are stored outside the media library, in a folder whose direct access is blocked at server level.
• Every document is encrypted at rest. A copy of the disk or a backup cannot be read without the key, which is kept separately.
• Image metadata (including geolocation) is stripped automatically on upload.
• Only the authorised verification team can open a document, through an authenticated admin console. Every view is timestamped and logged.
• The document is deleted immediately once the check is done (approved or refused), and wiped from disk.
• Any request not processed within 30 days is cancelled and its documents deleted automatically.
• The platform therefore never keeps a copy of your documents. It only attests that the check was carried out.
• If an employer wants to see a document, it is up to you to send it to them directly.
