5 — Intellectual property

The overall structure of Entraide Maritime and the elements belonging to Entraide Maritime that make it up — in particular its name, trade mark, logo, visual identity, texts, graphic creations, interfaces and original content — are protected under the applicable intellectual property rules. Save prior authorisation or an exception provided for by law, any unauthorised reproduction, representation, modification, exploitation or use of these elements is prohibited. Content published by users remains subject to their authors’ rights and to the provisions set out in the Entraide Maritime Terms of Use. Trade marks, logos, content or other elements belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

6 — Personal data

Entraide Maritime processes certain personal data required for its services to operate, in accordance with the applicable personal data protection rules. The categories of data collected, the purposes of processing, their legal bases, their retention periods and users’ rights are detailed in the Entraide Maritime Privacy Policy. 7 — Cookies and other trackers

Entraide Maritime may use cookies and other trackers necessary for its website, mobile application and digital services to operate. 8 — Terms of use and paid services

Access to and use of Entraide Maritime are governed by the Terms of Use. Entraide Maritime is free and offers no paid service to date. Should paid services be introduced, they would be governed by separate Terms of Sale, made available before any subscription.

9 — Liability

Entraide Maritime implements the means necessary to ensure the operation and security of its own services. Entraide Maritime also acts as a platform connecting the various players in the maritime sector. Where it acts solely as an intermediary, it is not a party to the contracts concluded directly between users. The applicable conditions and limits of liability are set out in the Entraide Maritime Terms of Use.

10 — Mediation and complaints

Any complaint concerning Entraide Maritime may be sent to contact@entraidemaritime.com. As no paid service is offered to date, recourse to a consumer mediator does not apply. Such a mechanism will be put in place if paid services are offered to consumers in the future.

11 — Governing law

This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the rules on jurisdiction are those provided for by the applicable legislation and by the Entraide Maritime contractual documents.

12 — Updates to this legal notice

Entraide Maritime may amend this legal notice, in particular to reflect changes to the publisher, the platform, its providers or the applicable regulations.
